When we were approached to help with digital ads for the Phenomenal Woman campaign #1600men we jumped at the chance. It's not everyday that we get to contribute to such a powerful movement for change. The campaigned is centered around a full-page, crowd-funded print ad in the New York Times (designed by Godfrey Dadich), a tribute to a similar one placed in the same newspaper supporting Anita Hill in 1991.

BEHIND THE DESIGN

These ads were designed to blend into the look and feel of the New York Times website. We wanted the text of the ad to convey weight and importance similar to a large newspaper headline.
