Brooke Fundraising
We worked with Brooke on their Space to Grow: Where Our Community Can Thrive campaign. This is a campaign to raise funds for a sports field that is adjacent to two of their campuses in Mattapan. Mattapan has significantly less green space than their neighboring communities, and Brooke saw an opportunity to create a space for their students, as well as the greater community to be outside together.
This project included a campaign logo, an annual appeal insert that was mailed to their community members, and a set of assets that could be used for social media, their website, and other fundraising materials.

When designing this insert, we decided to use the impressive rendering that the architects created because it does a great job of highlighting the field in relation to Brooke, the community, and Boston. We overlaid content to point out some of the key features of the field and added playful silhouettes of people enjoying the field. This will help their donors imagine what the field will look like once it’s built.
We also pulled out key data from the content Brooke provided us with to emphasize the lack of green space that Mattapan has in comparison to surrounding neighborhood. We called out the demographics of Mattapan as well as Brooke students.
